Still seemed to be quite a few scattered about MDW this wkd - maybe needed for codeshare situations? That said, some of the ones being removed other places could stand to be shipped there. Seemed to be too few at the ticket counter and due to the way they're paired, people in line weren't moving to available ones because a group with a lot of baggage (group check in and baggage check - the two improvements) would crowd around the terminals making it look - at least to casual pax - like both kiosks were in use. Those of us back in line had to keep prompting people at the front.

Maybe you could mount a big flashing green light atop each kiosk unit...
