I got free Club Lounge access at IC Park Lane earlier this year booking through them, too.

I can give you my Virtuoso Travel Agent's info if you like.
The hotel is part of IHG Destined, a luxury programme run directly by IHG, similar to Virtuoso. However, guests booked through IHG Destined are prioritised for benefits like room upgrades over those booked through Virtuoso. For this reason, I usually recommend booking through the hotel’s group programme—unless Virtuoso offers significantly better benefits.

Other hotel groups have similar programmes, such as Hilton Impresario, Four Seasons Preferred Partner, or Marriott STARS/Luminous, and the same principle applies: the group’s own luxury programme often offers better upgrade prioritisation and exclusive deals.

Another advantage of booking through these programmes is access to additional promotions, such as “Pay 2, Stay 3” offers or discounts of up to 25%, which can provide exceptional value for a luxury stay.
