No. OLCI with Marriott has almost never worked at all for me. Only once in the past 30-40 stays - a Spring Hill Suites in Alpharetta, GA - did it fully work, with a functional key in my app before I arrived at the hotel.

Like others, I use it only as a tool to tell the hotel I'm arriving late.

The crazy part is that Hilton manages to get this right 80+% of the time and has for years. Even in hotels where I'm a foreigner and need to provide a passport, the app can handle it fine and I can still go directly to my room without stopping at the front desk. (This is probably not true for every country but at least for some, it is.)
