As I live in France - this is the one that I was hoping for. I applied last night and went off to see "North Shore" and did not look at what time my approval to Platinum came into my mail box. Since your airline has shown me total disregard with this Tier Point move, I wanted you to know that I shall not be darkening the doorways your Lounges any more. Since you do not seem to think that my money is good enough for you, I intend to spend it elsewhere. You will no doubt be gone when the ramifications of this ultimate stupidity comes home to roost in about 15 months time. I feel sorry for the excellent personnel that you employ especially aboard your aircraft, but since these appear to be managed (I use the term loosely) by the noughties equivalents of Donkeys aka Sharons and Jasons; I have no business here. Had you actually sorted out your IT, your baggage systems and your constant service failures - then we might have had some incentive. You have not and I doubt ever will in my lifetime. I was quite close to Lifetime Gold but you have made sure that never happens. All I will say is biting the hand that feeds you is rarely a sound policy.
