I would call, there is sometimes a glitch (yet another), with a booking a connection from one of the regions or devolved nations. Sometimes I can book EDI-LHR- JFK in Club for example, but if I try for First it only offers LHR-JFK. have called and it gets sorted by phone. Good luck!
