After booking the outbound, I focused on watching return flights to the USA and it was the same, 2 J and several PE and E through Dec 28. Starting Dec 29, I've hit a brick wall and every day I look there are no award seats in any cabin to any destination in the USA. Cathay says they have no blackout dates for awards, so my question for more seasoned Asia miles users is if this is normal and will they eventually open award seats on the dates after Dec 28 and if so, will they do so in a reasonable time frame or will it be last minute? (Currently has their awards seats open through Jan 10). Hoping to get a PE redemption with them but will use another carrier if unable. Thanks for any help you can offer.
which route had 2J open up consistently in Dec 2025? tks
