I just took a flight home from OGG-SAN with a connection in HNL. The Maui to Honlulu flight was about 70% full. The Honolulu flight to San DIego was about 95% full- I only saw a couple middle seats in the back of the plane empty. One interesting fact is I booked this about 2 weeks out and for the next 10 days the fare kept bouncing around and I was able to get the fare down from $367 ot $277 about 5 days out, and using the companion pass made this an excellent deal. I was surprised how full the flight was.
