I’m looking at booking a business class flight on United and Aer Lingus to Ireland. On the Aer Lingus website it says they have access to the BA lounge in Newark. The issue is I would have a 8.5 hour layover in Newark. When I look online, it says the BA lounge closes at 8 am and opens at 5 PM. Is this really true? If I arrive at 10 AM with no access to lounges other than my aer lingus business class ticket, am I without a lounge until 5 PM? It would be booked with United points and the first leg would be economy to Newark. Any insight would be greatly appreciated.
