Data point for a rev/paid ticket through AS website, $30 premium over booking directly with EI (booking with AS gives more miles to AS ff program)

Flight: DUB - LPA
On going to manage my booking with Aer Lingus, no FF# attached to booking. Unable to add one. The following appears:
  • No seat
  • 10kg bag dropped off at check-in
  • No checked bag (20kg or more)
I call Aer Lingus, they confirm I have a bag allowance (20kg checked, 10kg carry-on). I cannot choose a standard seat for free - that'd be $14.

Award tickets booked with Aer Lingus, in the past, have for me allowed 1 free bag and a standard seat. The flight looks to be low load right now, so will reassess desire to pay for a seat at check-in.
