I’m on permanent vacation now and choose my trips based on whatever amazing hotels I can find! Even though I have LTT, I’m not one of those who says I’m a free agent now. I actually requalify for Tit status every year to enjoy my status.

(However, now that I have IHG DÍA status, I have to confess, I may not hit my 75 nights for the first time with MAR this year, she says as she writes from the spectacular lounge at the Regent Phu Quoc! None of this “we’re a resort so we don’t have a lounge” BS.)
I'm in exactly the same situation, the new IHG program works great for me, Diamond with the milestone rewards and lounge access is worth putting extra nights IHG's way. It's a complete turnaround to what the program was a couple of years ago before the relaunch.

Being LTT I may hit 75 nights this year (for the free night cert) if there is a double night promo or similar but I'm not worried about chasing it.

Enjoy the Regent! It's on my go to list.
