I will be disappointed to discover that any are codeshares. Is there a good source for identifying codeshares or do I have to wait until I start planning a trip to find out I won’t qualify for a “free” seat?
If you know where you're going to fly, you can go through the booking process and see what the flights look like. If it's codeshare, there will be a note on the flight that says "Operated by..." I don't think they codeshare a lot domestically; I've flown F9 a lot over the last few years and MEX is the first one I've seen so far.
