Yep, that's how my Firefox is configured*, but it's still irritating that (a) 2FA appears to be bypassable (I seem to have made up a word!), and (b) the logout function doesn't work.
* It's the main reason I switched from Safari on MacOS. I have some websites, such as this one, whitelisted, but every other cookie/cache is deleted when I close the browser, which I do regularly.
