Hi all, going back to the original question I can confirm if you apply the upgrade voucher to the outbound leg (departing UK) and book return separately BA will then combine the booking and refund the avios difference for you. Obviously that means if booking for two people then making two separate bookings on two Barclays’s upgrade vouchers.
