I agree with what you are saying of course but I feel I dont have any pattern as to when i get a good crew Vs. a bad one, not by US airline as the category, not by senior or junior and not by the hub they are based out of. It was def. disappointing to have 2 of the FA's working upfront not say a word the whole flight. A third i tried to engage during meal service but couldnt get more than 1 or 2 words at a time. The purser was fine, a dry sense of humor and she wasnt horrible but def not the best. I used the call button at one point and she showed up and said 'Whats up?".
Later on this same trip I flew JX, TH, MH & BR and WOW the difference these 4 Asian airlines showed in service compared to my DL flight out. I cant even begin to explain how better it was. Although I guess thats no surprise. Something tells me I could have got better service in Y on those 4 carriers than I did on my DL flight to TPE.
