When I book Eco with the family (2+2), my criteria is the following:
1. Cost
2. Travel time / flight schedule
2. Availability of front row extra legroom seats for all
To answer your question about the lounges, the LX lounge is slightly better than LH in FRA or MUC but it this is a subjective opinion and I would not choose flight A over flight B to have a better lounge and would always try to minimize the time spent at the lounge if anyhow possible. Both options will give you a wide selection of beverages and a bite to eat.
