Towards this end, I'd like to see them do something bigger with Alaska, the bird in the hand (i.e. a plan to aggressively compete in every Delta market that AS also serves one-stop to/from SEA, SFO, and LAX).
Something bigger with Alaska? What else does JX has to bring to the table for Alaska other than what they have now?
As far as CZ is concerned, if I can fly MU, a real member of ST, why would I fly CZ, unless CZ is significantly cheaper than MU? (but they are not)
For frequent flyers, an elite status on a global alliance does worth something.
