I'm relatively new to Marriott and I managed to hit platinum. Is there a substantial difference between gold and platinum when staying in cheap hotels? Almost all my stays are either Fairfield or Springhill, and sometimes Courtyard, so I'm not staying in hotels with lounges nor places with premium rooms. What do you folks say?
