Huh. I don’t think I have ever sat in a regular coach seat (other than Q400s) as an MVPG, other than exit row. But I don’t recall having ever been offered a choice of chocolate
or adult beverage in exit row. It’s always been “here is your chocolate, thank you for being Gold”.

I don’t recall, was it always “later in 2025” for the MVP companion upgrades? I thought it was just a new feature starting in 2025 (as in, 1/1/2025).
And since when does OW Ruby give upgrades on AA? The AS status might give you that as part of the “special relationship”, but it’s not really a OneWorld status benefit, as far as I know?!
