In other words, for me at least, the website shows a full room rate, including the Daily Destination Fee, and makes it easy to see what the fee includes.
The fact that I'm seeing this might be because I'm in Illinois and the website is aware of my location. The Illinois legislature passed a junk fee ban last year. I don't if it's the law yet, but prices in Illinois must include any mandatory fees.
The poster said they were booking with points. If you search for hotels with points, you don't see the destination fee until the final confirmation page.
