Does it show up in his account as a claim? I have the same language on my AM flight ("We're already in the process of verifying this flight"), even though the claim says "New". But I do have a claim number and mine never said that it was successful. Mine also says "No points were claimed." which is strange since the SK number was on the ticket and on the boarding pass and the booking class was one that earns.
He now has a claim number but this was because he sent an email yesterday. Before that, there was no claim in the app either from the phone agent I talked to or his retroclaim attempt. At least now I have proof of everything being logged Going forward I expect to be left waiting for quite a while...
