I'm considering a flight from EWR on a LH 747-8 that appears to usually arrive at Z gates at 07:25. We will have 6.5 hour layover before a Schengen flight to ARN taking off at 13:50; historically that one seems to sometimes leave from A gates and sometimes B. We'll have kids so I'm looking at getting a room at the My Cloud transit hotel near gate Z25 but am hoping to get a better idea of timing. I believe if we get off our flight at a Z gate we should be able to access the transit hotel immediately with no security/passport concerns. What time should I plan to check out of the hotel to make my way to boarding the next flight if it is in A or B and what is the passport/security process? Our bags will be checked through to our destination and we're flying business both legs. I figure if we can snag 4 hours of sleep it should be worthwhile.
