DP: I surprisingly had a reward ticket fee of $12.50 accepted and reimbursed. Another rewards ticket fee in the same amount a few days later did not follow suit. My understanding is these normally are not covered, so I'll consider myself lucky for the 1 time mistake.

Question: I have a hard time using any of my $200 credit with AS because I have status. After reading the posts about how to get flight credit with United, I'm considering switching, getting the credit, just hoping I can at some point use it on UA. However, can I still change my selection for 2025 given I've already received the $12.50 credit noted above on an AS charge? I have not technically selected a choice this year but understand it would roll over to AS automatically if I do nothing.
