I had the Aloft booked for an upcoming trip, but then went with another hotel. The one thing I am missing is the bus transfer to the Aloft from TPE as I thought it looked super convenient and easy. Here is the information I gathered.
It is a motorcoach with under bus storage, not a typical city bus. The bus number is 1841. If you arrive T2, once you exit customs, you go to the right and wrap around to the bus ticket counters. Bus ticket counters clearly have the bus number listed in their window (there are several counters side by side). I'm 99% sure the fare is 91TWD one-way. (The fare chart is in Chinese, but I think anything beyond a local stop from TPE is 91.)
Going to the Aloft, the bus drops just to the E of it, at the intersection of Minquan and Linsen. If you look at Google Street View, you can clearly see the bus stop in the middle of the street. That is ~150m from the hotel entrance.
And going back to TPE, it picks up just to the W of the hotel at Minquan and the next major intersection, just a hair further than the arrival.
This is general info for the bus:

If you do metro/train, you are looking at the Commuter line to the Orange Zhonghe-Xinlu Line at Sanchong, but that didn't seem to be faster and seemed to be less convenient than the bus imo with the transfer alone and having to haul your luggage.

The exit at Zhongshan Elementary School is about a 5 minute walk to the hotel.
The walk from the Airport Express to the Red line in Taipei Main station is not a short walk. I would recommend Commuter to Orange above or the bus, especially since Taipei Main is a busy station to navigate with luggage. (I've maybe watched a dozen youtube videos on this so far.)
