I definitely prefer Swiss but haven't flown with them long haul before. I've flown long haul with Lufthansa once before on the 747-400 and it was fine.

From looking at AeroLOPA, the seat pitch is identical (31") but the Swiss seats are 17.1" instead of 17.3" in Lufthansa. Swiss also have a few rows with 35" pitch apparently.

seats on LH 748 should be slightly wider than LX 77W, but LH 748 economy is nearly the oldest cabin among all LH long haul aircrafts, even their 744 have got newer IFE screens
