I just got the F9 card and am waiting for my status to update to Gold so I can book some more travel with a carry-on.

I keep seeing on the website and getting emails that cardholders get two free checked bags. Is that a one-time benefit (like, two check bags... ever) or is it per flight? I know this should be an obvious question, but just wondering so I have some clarity.
