Would probably need to ask APFA leadership to confirm my recollection is correct and, if so, why APFA would allow the South Americans on MIA international flights but not other gateways. I believe that the arrangement was a holdover from the EA days but, still, there have been many APFA negotiation cycles since then.
Contrast with UA whose LHR-based FAs are (were) AFA-represented. I think. Didn't UA also have a TPE local-hire FA domicile back in the day?
