I know there are no ovens on these jets, but AS/QX serves nice salads and cold sandwiches. Nuts could be served cold. Hot towels don't involve the oven. And this is just flat out not enough food for a flight this long at this time of day.

To add insult to injury, is the UC at MSP the worst UC food in the system? Clamshell prepackaged salad or sandwich, chili or soup, and prepackaged cookies and brownies. Jars of mixed nuts, trail mix, and chocolate almonds. No hot food beyond the soup/chili, no crackers, no, veggies and dip, no cheese cubes... The combo of what was on offer in the club and what was on offer in the air made me stop and pay for dinner in the food court. I shouldn't have to do that after I pay for a UC membership and pay for first.

This is not dinner.
Agreed. The E175 is a comfortable ride for a short hop. But my preferred LGA-IAH flight time is always operated by one, and for 3.5hr flight (4+ hours last week because of winds!) it just is not it.
And I was served canned wine in F. Was that a miscater, as I thought that was only for Y?
