That's why it's important to leave paper trail. If you have a ticket showing 2 bags and then documentation from TK that said zero bag - you should have a decent chance to get the charge back through.
in my case two different united agents- one in person and the other one via live chat told me to pay TK for bags and United will reimburse me later. I have got the chatscript too. Now United is saying it was a miscommunication :/. I have filed my DOT complaint and have opened another case with United that’s under review now. Let’s see what happens. If all fails I will just do a chargeback, even though I’m not convinced I will win the credit card dispute because I paid TK not United….
