1) I have no status with Delta.
2) I booked the seat on points, and paid the taxes/fees with a Delta credit card. It's not an upgrade.
3) No earlier or later flights that are nonstop on Jan. 14 on Delta. I could get a connecting flight through CDG that leaves later on Jan. 14.
4) If I try to book this Jan. 14 JFK-FCO flight now, one-way, I see that there are 5 Delta One seats at $7,973. All other cabins are sold out.
