The HGI at T2/3 tends to be abusively expensive, so I recommend the Hilton at T4. It is easy to get to with bus 482/490 from T5, and next day walk to T4 and take Elizabeth line to T3. About 20 min total each way. This is my usual for the overnight T5-T3 transfer.
Question, I'm planning on the HGI T4 in October after arriving in T5, but assumed the Tube was the easy way there...can you not run T5-Hatton Cross, is there a reason to favor the bus?
