Can suite upgrades be used at HH properties? I know they can't be used at HP.
I stayed here for one night right after they opened. No Glob upgrade despite hyatt.com showing availability. I had a standard--I forgot whether they called it den or studio--without kitchen. It was small, and when I arrived, it looked like an earlier guest had stolen some furniture. For example, there was a desk but no desk chair and very little lighting. The front desk agent was struggling. Outdoor parking is $15 per night IIRC; check their website.
WARNING: Despite "MSP Airport" in the hotel name, there is NO airport shuttle service. You could walk to the light rail station at MOA (maybe five blocks) and take the light rail line to/from airport.
One nice feature is the indoor swimming pool on the lower level with big windows looking toward trees and a creek. There's also a patio with some outdoor seating down there. I suspect the hotel has a outdoor grill for guests to use in good weather, but I was there in winter and didn't look for it.
BTW, I would guess that the distance from this HH to the HH in Rochester MN is approximately seventy-five miles. It's a drive of about an hour and ten minutes.
