I’m lucky to have a double TP holiday in F booked in April that gets me approx 11k TP in the new system as I booked it before 30/12/24. I’ve also got a very cost-efficient (£2k!) and TP-rich trip on QR planned to the far east that nets me another 5k TPs, so with that plus other trips planned and what I’m hoping is regular AMEX spend I will make Gold comfortably.

While I think I will cross 30k TPs next year sadly it’s the end of GGL for me as my work travel ended a couple of years ago and as a bucket and spade GGL I can’t see myself spending >£32k on BA each year.

I’ve got a big birthday coming up so I’ll be making good use of my final few space releases and GUFs to hopefully more or less book out an F cabin on an F8A7 route on a couple of trips. Occasionally I’ve seen Revman drop the last F seat as A1 so I think ending my GGL run with a fully booked F cabin with avios, a joker and GUFs with family and friends will be quite the way to say goodbye to the GGL club..
