The QF flights almost always seem to be more from Europe as when I have searched they connect through LHR on BA.

In the past Qatar has represented best value back to Aus from other European Cities but you won’t get your 4 QF Flights. We have done trips in Aus when visiting for extended periods to get these.

I find it quite easy to earn SCs in Europe on BA and just hit Lifetime Silver.

Make sure you sign up for Green Tier for the extra 50SC.

The Australian Frequent Flyer Forums seem to be much better for QFF.
