Am currently at the Wyndham Grand Bonnet Creek, one of their flagship properties. Nice enough hotel, but zero Diamond recognition at check-in. No upgrade, no welcome amenity, and I even had to remind the agent that resort fees are not charged on award stays.

I get the feeling that Wyndham Rewards is a not-ready-for-prime-time program. Things were better in the old days of Wyndham By Request, when one would get an upgrade not infrequently, plus a cheese plate in your room upon arrival.
