Sorry, can I piggyback my question here. I ask my question before in another thread and got a 'yes' answer. However, as time goes by and I have more understanding on the situation and CDG layout (never been to CDG before), I would like some specific directions please.

We come in from HKG (AF185) to 2E early morning then departing to Santiago (AF406) from 2E-K with 17 hour layover. Naturally we want to use the departing lounge before going to Paris then again in the evening. I got a 'yes' answer but I still cannot wrap my head around the details.

I think regardless which hall I arrive (still cannot find this information), it would be easy to get to the 2E-K lounge because that's what everybody else needs to do if they need to transfer. My question is really about coming back (2E-K departure lounge to either 2E-K, 2E-L or 2E-M arrival in order to leave for Paris). I have a couple of questions please:

1. Given these three are all international (non Schengen) halls, it is correct that in either direction, there is no immigration control (I mean between halls - I certainly need to pass immigration control to go to Paris);
2. Many people said that, when going back from the 2E-K departure lounge, you just need to trackback the route. While we would take extra care remembering/marking our route, would there be any route that is 'one-way' while going from the landing gate to the departure lounge (like if I need to go through security from arrival hall to departure hall, it is unlikely that there would be a pathway for security check that allows people from the departure hall to go to the arrival hall - what do I do in this situation?

Any specific information would be greatly received. Sorry for piggybacking this one. I hope I am allowed.
