Following with interest as I’m aware of three separate, recent occasions where school ski trips have been disrupted by flight ‘cancellations’.
In each case, a coach has been organised to repatriate the kids, resulting in a pretty horrible ~24hour schlep across Europe for them and their frazzled teachers.
Given that hell would have to freeze over before I’d choose that option rather than a re-book and a night in a hotel at BA’s expense - I’ve always wondered why schools take the coach option?
