Its fascinating to compare this thread to prior years, where I suspect people would have had long lists of trips booked on BA. Its a good example of the impact of the changes made, and how its pushing revenue away.

For myself, F to LHR- NYC/ORD - LHR in spring. Had booked a BAH to HEL in late Dec to get TP for Gold renewal, flying in April, and will keep booking for the trip as it looks great fun. But no other BA trips planned - our LIS trip will now be via TAP to give them a go.

Not sure what to do longer term - looking for a status match, but our family travel plans will be on carrier of convenience / cost and not BA as default now, and our brand loyalty as a Gold/Silver couple has been lost, and replaced by a far more blunt view that we'll fly CE or J/F equivs and stop caring about frequent flyer schemes - I see us flying a lot less in future. We only have about 150K of airmiles to burn off, so likely to use them for a few CE redemptions in next 12 months, before my Gold is lost.
