I'll be going to Sapporo Snow Festival next year but any experiences on Otaru's similar event? I'm most likely doing a day trip to Otaru anyways so will be checking that festival out as well but still interested to hear about it.
It seems there's also a similar winter festival in Asahikawa, any experiences on how these three compare? All three seem to be on almost matching days as well.
