My son and I will fly to Guilin for three nights before the upcoming Spring Festival. Based on this thread, I changed my plan as follows: Day 1: Flight arrives in late afternoon; take a taxis to Sheraton Guilin Hotel; Day 2: Li River cruise and arrive in Yang Shuo in the early afternoon; Stay at Yang Shuo for two nights; Day 2-4 sightseeing plans are TBD. On Day 4, take either taxis or taxis/bus to airport. The question is when I should purchase the Li River cruise tickets. The second question is which sites should I visit within the time constraint.
