Maybe and wouldn't be surprising know Alaska. It's not written that award tickets are excluded (which are still revenue tickets but I know what you meant) and it states that
all business class fares earn a bonus, hence why there's confusion. That second screenshot doesn't help either as 1 EQM per mile flown have been standard with cash fares for a long time, and they earn a COS bonus. I keep checking this thread though in case someone does spot something that could clarify the bonus on awards. It hasn't happened yet despite some posters being confident in their answers when someone asks and I think it's important to be transparent in not actually knowing the answer here. I personally am not booking awards based on one way or another until knowing for sure.

That statement is saying the chart listed only applies to reservations booked directly with Alaska, which you need to do when booking with Alaska miles. They've said you need to book the award through Alaska to earn miles, so an award on AS metal booked through say American Airlines shouldn't get any EQMs.
Not to mention for years there were some award tickets that earned miles, including a COS bonus. But that was a little known mistake/glitch that I'm thinking will not have any bearing on what happens
