What is the route you are checking?? Here is an example of ATL-HKT roundtrip DL PS fares. As you can see, the fare basis codes all start with coach classes (hence dual inventory). One-way PS fares on ATL-HKT are considerably more than roundtrip fares. Upfaring just to get a Y/B/M basis PS fare is likely going to be a considerable amount extra and not worth it just to upgrade ICN-Asia KE segment with a GUC.

If you are talking about TATL PS fares, those are not dual inventory fares and the fare basis codes will start with P/A/G for PS fares.
