As previously stated, my primary flying is via RTW's and the idea that all airlines earn the same elite points for status is very appealing for me. Platino will require lots of planning, but doable for a reasonable cost and for nearly 3 years. And the IAD-MAD flight (when it starts flying) is a plus for me.
