With the exception of holiday periods or the occasional fare sale, there is rarely any reason to book UA tickets far in advance.

Though if you forget the interest-free loan part, by booking far in advance and monitoring for price changes, you can always get the lowest price on your ticket. I guess it depends how much your money would be earning otherwise.
