No, there’s no reason to, for one thing you’re no longer paying an “eligible rate” since it would be comped, for another you’re not staying at Hyatt.
To receive an EQN step 1 is always you have to pay an eligible rate, always. Unless it’s December 30th and that 1 EQN will get you to 60 I’m not sure that matters much for a comped night. They’re saving you something like $800+ If the property is Andaz Maui.
