I'm flying ORD-LHR this week and there is a flight that leaves 3 hrs before my scheduled flight so I was wondering if its possible to standby for that flight but when I called UA, I was told its not possible unless the agent at the airport allows it.They say its entirely up to the agent.I was wondering if anyone has done it recently.
