I experienced the same on my Y flight last month actually - the website/app boarding passes showed me as Platinum including lounge and priority access. It seems EY picks up your FB status somehow and mistakes it for EY status. I took advantage of it to bypass the enormous bag drop queue at CDG check-in, but was berated by the check-in agent so I didn't push it by attempting priority boarding and/or the lounge at AUH.
