Just waked by. Doors are open, two staff behind the reception desk. Wouldn’t give me a tour of rooms and facilities, but indicated that they will be opening beginning of February. I’m torn about the location — very close to the Japanese quarter, which means some good restaurants, but also a lot of massage touts. Common areas look bland for an Indigo (I generally like the brand), and it’s gonna be very hard to pry me away from the Park Hyatt (which is spectacular, but course in a different league price-wise). But good to have an IHG option in Saigon.
