My flight was not originating in TPE but from YYZ and in PE standard. So the bid was from TPE to BKK only. 191 usd but again it was full and I am a G with them so it could have been a double win for them as I bid but they may have upgraded me anyway.
The beauty of BR to me is their PE. Certainly from YYZ as I could pay a reasonable fare and either bid for an upgrade or sit in fairly comfortable PE and get very good service. There is not much competition from YYZ to south east Asia that can compete with BR. Certainly not CX as their PE hard product is not as good as BR. None of the Middle East carriers have PE to south east Asia.
