Indeed, I would think the same and that BobTL comment was not accurate. I'm still in touch with AF/KLM to get their policy on the subject ( luggage allowance on a KLM flight when AF/KLM decide to use non Skyteam airline partner). We made some other tests, and it seems that the system is consistent in not allowing STE+ perks on AF/KLM flight in that specific case. With a copy of their policy, I could demonstrate that the system is programed correctly or not.
