I’ve had 3 Hawaiian Biz approved and 3 declined in the past 6 years and prior to that 4 personal approved in the preceding 2.5 years (when 2 per year was allowable). I was told in June 2023 that the limit was 1 card every 24 months, from closure to approval, not negotiable. My last account was opened in July 2024 and closed in Sept 2024 (to minimize the 24 month wait). No clawback, all HA miles transferred to Alaska in October 2024.
